In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

My name is Najib.

and this is my lovely wife, Naili.

I was born in Kuching, Sarawak on a certain day while Naili was born in Kuala Lumpur on another certain day. That makes the two of us 23 this year. Golden age, I must say.

Alhamdulillah, all praise is due to Allah, we were born in such loving families, great parents and siblings. Being the youngest of three, I have no complaints at all. Being the second of four, Naili has loads to complain, but look at her now, so well raised by her parents.

I’m a Petronas sponsored student while Naili is TNB sponsored. Thanks to them, both of us are currently studying in University of Southampton UK, majoring in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. We are enjoying every bits of engineering so far. The exams? Not so much.

The picture was not taken in Southampton. But again, thanks to Petronas and TNB, we managed to save a small proportion of the allowance and spent it wisely on our trip to Istanbul.

Naili and I tied the knot on the August 10th, 2008 (8 Sya’ban 1429H).

As of this date, our never ending journey begins.

And this is our story.
